Starting and finishing at the Ayrshire Athletics Arena, the route is fast and flat.

The first section takes competitors on a direct route through the south of the town centre and then some pleasant residential areas before heading into scenic countryside near to Caprington Castle.

The return route follows the one way system and the pedestrian area of Kilmarnock town centre before heading back to the Arena.

The course has been accurately measured and certified.

The race will be run on public roads and will be managed through a combination of designated lanes, road closures and rolling road blocks.

Traffic will be controlled on the day by a traffic management company.

To limit disruption to traffic, we are unable to cater for walkers in this event.
